Talks I've given, topics I'm happy to speak about, and how to invite me to your event.
Topics I'm happy to speak about
AI-native enterprise architecture in regulated industries. What it actually takes to ship agentic AI systems inside a regulated enterprise — the audit instrumentation, the data-residency story, the governance discipline, the policy work, the build-versus-buy calculus on EA tooling.
Building an enterprise architecture function from zero. The operating model decisions, the governance forum design, the ADR practice, the standards approach. Drawn from doing this twice across different organisational contexts.
Large-scale ERP transformation, from the architect's seat. Specifically S/4HANA, but the lessons travel. What the foundational decisions are, where the integration architecture matters most, why the data is harder than the process, how the governance model needs to be designed for the years after the programme.
Acquisition-heavy companies and the architecture function inside them. The PE-roll-up pattern. Why textbook EA practice doesn't fit. The 30-60-90-180 framework. Vendor consolidation as architecture practice.
Architecture governance in 2026. The role of the Architecture Governance Board now that AI-assisted authorship has changed the cost structure of architectural documentation. The relationship between architecture and security as identity-first security becomes the dominant model.
Format
I'm comfortable across formats:
- Keynote (30–45 minutes plus Q&A)
- Panel (with two to five panellists, moderated)
- Workshop (half-day or full-day, working through a specific framework with the audience)
- Fireside (in-conversation with a host)
- Roundtable (small-group executive discussion, ten to twenty participants)
Past engagements
This page will get filled out as engagements are confirmed and as prior ones can be cited publicly. If you have heard me speak and the talk is referenced somewhere on the public web, please send me the link and I will add it here.
Inviting me
The shortest path is a message via LinkedIn or the contact form. Include:
- The event, date and location
- The audience (who is in the room, how many, what they do)
- The format and duration you have in mind
- The topic, or the question you want the talk to answer
I'm London-based and travel for the right events. I prioritise events with architects, CIOs, CTOs and Chief Architects in the audience over events for vendors and the broader analyst community.
Press, podcasts and interviews
I'm happy to be approached by journalists and podcast producers on the topics above. Use the same channels. The /press/ page has the media kit — bio in multiple lengths, headshot, areas of expertise.
